There is no correct number of units, and a provider who quotes you one is guessing
Draft body, not yet adapted
Neuromodulator dosing gets discussed as though there is a standard amount per area, and the standard amounts published for a treatment are population averages derived from trials, not prescriptions for an individual face. The dose that is right for you follows from how strong the relevant muscle is, where it inserts, how it interacts with its antagonists, and what you want the surrounding muscles to keep doing. A strong frontalis in a person with a heavy brow needs a completely different approach from a weak one in a person whose brow is already low, and treating both with the same units produces a good outcome in one and a low brow in the other. This is why Claire assesses at rest and in motion, treats conservatively on a first visit, and reviews at two weeks with the explicit expectation of adding rather than starting high and waiting it out. It is also why unit-count pricing quietly pushes in the wrong direction. The right dose sometimes goes up and sometimes goes down, and the second visit is where the plan actually gets made.
Call to action. Ask what your muscles are doing before you ask what it costs per unit.
