How Long Filler Actually Takes to Settle
Draft body, not yet adapted
This is the question Sloane Holloway, RN, BSN, is asked more than any other, and the answer is less satisfying than the internet suggests. Hyaluronic acid filler is not finished the day it goes in. Swelling resolves over about two weeks, the product integrates over four to six, and where it sits in a mobile part of the face it will keep adjusting after that. If something looks uneven at day three, day three is not the result. And if it still looks uneven at week six, that is a conversation, not a catastrophe, because it can be dissolved.
