Eyelid Surgery or Brow Position: Which Question Are You Actually Asking
Draft body, not yet adapted
People arrive asking about their eyes and mean one of two completely different things. Sometimes the upper lid carries excess skin and the answer is a blepharoplasty. Sometimes the lid is fine and the brow has descended, in which case operating on the lid alone can make the brow sit lower still. Board-certified Dr. Elise Rowan sorts this out with a mirror and two fingers before any photograph is taken, and it changes the plan more often than patients expect. Neither operation is a substitute for the other and both carry real recovery.
Call to action. Bring a photograph of yourself from ten years ago to the consultation. It is more useful than any measurement.
